When I think of spring I think of tulips, they just seem to go hand in hand. Over the years I have planted thousands and thousand of bulbs, mainly because of my mothers incredible obsession with the tulips. I have grown to love them and their sweet fragrance. The intricate beauty in each and every one of the abundant varieties. They are without a doubt my go to flower, both in landscaping and painting.
The parrot tulip is one that fascinates me, with its ruffled edges and bright colors. It resembles a parrot shaking off the water from its morning bath.
Spring: Estella Parrot is 6 x 6" on 140 lb watercolor paper. It is signed on the front and signed and dated on the back. It comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
