This painting is of the large field across to Ladygate Wood, a view just across from my rural studio in Cambridgeshire. I always like the tracks left by the tractors as they add a geometric dimension to the topography of the land. These divisions also encourage various wild grasses to grow which in turn provide a different visual interest with colour. I think the long rectangular shape lends itself well to this subject and would be suitable for hanging in many situations in the home.


The painting is framed in a deep natural wood box frame.

It is shipped wrapped in several protective layers before being placed in a sturdy cardboard box.
I always send my paintings by tracked courier for extra security.
