Like many Americans, I grew up during the Space Race and have had a life-long fascination with our final frontier. Here in Florida, we have been blessed to personally watch launches. In the early years, we recovered capsules off our coast, hence the title of this artwork. It is an abstract begun in watercolor on Arches paper, with oil and pastel on that foundation. It will be shipped in a tube.
