I wanted to paint someone with a quirky fresh look.
This large scale portrait is very 'current'.
Lovely twisted space buns, dramatic eyes, bright acrylic nails and a dash of Cath Kidston give it a kitsch feel.
Signed both front and reverse. Standard stretch canvas, edges painted black.
Portrait painted in oil. background black acrylic ( for speed of drying so that I could paint fine wisps of hair)
