I Am in Bloom
A contemporary textured painting that merges an abstract female figure with the vibrant force of nature.
I created this work while developing my Svanire series, focused on flowers as vital cores. At some point, I realized that women and flowers share the same origin — the same generative energy.
So I used the same materials — acrylic, enamel, and resin on canvas — and bold colors to build her blooming dress, as if she were emerging from the canvas like a wild blossom.
Her garment bursts with energy, texture, and movement, while her hair — or maybe a hat — whirls like a spiral of thought or instinct.
