"Something In Nothing" - Original PMS Oil Painting On Reclaimed Particle Board - 31.5 x 13.5 inches (2018) Original Oil Painting by Preston M. Smith (PMS)

This is a completely unique and original abstract oil painting on reclaimed particle board. This painting is a combination of various techniques that I have been working to perfect over the years. The surface colors in this piece are a bit softer and bleed into each other. The top layers consists of patterns and forms which are dynamic, a bit more pronouced and lead the eye all across the surface of the painting. Subtle and heavier texture exists in these shapes and forms (that also fade into nothing) on the surface to give added depth and movement to the piece. It is a wonderful harmony of color, form and no form. A truly spiritual piece and an original oil painting and series like no other.

Note: This painting is painted on a simple, thin piece of recycled particle board and comes hang ready with the edges painted black. Framing is up to the preference of the collector and depends on the aesthetic you want for your space, but may be desired as to the thinness of the surface.

This painting is signed on the front and includes my Certificate of Authenticity.
