Titled: Somewhere Only We Know

Secret places down winding paths brings us to this beautiful place. My partner and I love to explore such places, secret paths, sometimes we walk for miles without ever seeing anyone. Sometimes finding these places allows you to feel that all the world is yours, at least for a little while. I wanted to capture this essence in this piece. Tranquility, beautiful light and illuminated skies and flowers. Created from imagination, yet with morning walks in Northumberland in mind. Wonderfully eye-catching, makes for a stunning centre point to your space. Teal, Turquoise, Blue, subtle reds and greens sing with dreamy Lemon Yellow and Peach. The flowers within the piece are beautiful Cornflowers. You can also find little Honey Bees intertwined within the stems. Many layers of brushstrokes build to give the meadow a tremendous sense of density and depth.

These longer length pieces at this size look particularly beautiful hung above the bed, or sofa.
