Titled: Solstice - Wild poppies in the long light of Summer...
An expressive field of wild poppies glowing in the last light of a summer's day. Loose, gestural marks and soft haze capture that suspended, solstice stillness. Painted in oil, acrylic and oil pastel on fine 100% cotton canvas, this piece brings a warm, luminous atmosphere to your space. Beautiful to enjoy all year round. These large, longer length pieces at this size look particularly beautiful hung above the bed, or sofa. The perfect focal point for your space. Inspired by and set in the beautiful Northumberland countryside, UK, the home of all my inspirations.
