Solid Rock by Carol Zsolt
This painting is my interpretation of the beautiful Uluru / Ayers Rock in central Australian. It’s been a long time since I was there but I have always loved the colours. The beautiful ochres, reds and browns.
Layers of colour painted onto the canvas. Lots of squares applied, one on top of the other. Layers of shades of ochres, reds, oranges and brown squares all outlined with off white acrylic paint. Waiting for each colour to dry before the next one added. Takes time but I always love the result. Lots of individual squares. Love the look.
Wired on the back ready to hang. Protected with a semi gloss finish.
