Big canvas, bare hands, bold energy. As raw as it gets.
For this work, I applied most of the paint with my hands, because I wanted raw, pure expression and energy. I simply let the process guide me.
In the finished work, the pale pink introduces a powerful softness, multiple overlapping layers and a play between transparent and opaque areas add depth; all while preserving lightness and space on this large scale painting.

And at some point, 'Cactus Blossom' popped into my mind: the delicate pinks and rose tones, the green, the somehow spiky marks...
