A unique sculpture that can also serve as a vase. It was made from the clay reclaim bucket of slops and then fired in a soda kiln. In soda firing, ceramic objects are placed in a kiln, exposed to extreme heat, and then soda is introduced, vaporizing and interacting with the surface in ways that cannot be fully controlled. The final result often includes unexpected textures, color variations, and marks from flame paths and chemical reactions.
