This is a really huge subject for a landscape painting, the big Snowdon landscape, monumental and challenging.
But how uplifting it was to see.
I first set eyes on it on a clear cold morning. And then the day turned warm as we toiled up the slopes. An unforgettable day that has sparked a whole series of paintings.
I use big, bold brushstrokes and lots of paint to do justice to this amazing scene.
