Over the years, my family would wait in line to eat a delicious breakfast at this quaint little restaurant that was in the 2nd building on the right. The memories and the beauty of this small village are what inspired me to paint this little street scene. I stood there in the street for 3 consecutive days to finish this Plein Air oil painting. I hope you can put yourself in the scene and imagine what it would be like to walk along this street. This canvas is large, and gallery wrapped making the sides part of the painting. Hanger wire is attached for easy hanging.
My materials include artist oils and a stretch canvas. The painting measures 24" x 30" x 1.5” or 61 x 76 x 3.8 centimeters. A professional camera was used to ensure the image is as close to the actual painting colors as I can get. I varnished the painting to protect and preserve the paint surface. I think you will be pleased.
