I love wire haired dachshunds and I'm lucky enough to have two of my own so this painting has been up-dated to home my favourite hound!
They might be small companions but they have big ideas and are stuffed full of personality!
To achieve the loose painterly feel I've used a variety of pencil, pastels, inks and acrylic paint to create this W60 x H90 cm canvas art piece and sealed it with matt varnish. It is ready to hang or could be framed to co-ordinate with the decor should the new owner wish.
This is a painting about friendship and love, it's a statement piece designed to bring the outside in without leaving mud on your carpet!
