A painting depicting the internal struggle between our better and worse natures. The Gods within, representing our virtuous qualities, are engaged in an unending fight with the demons in our minds, representing our vices and dark impulses. There exists a constant tug-of-war between the forces of light and dark, as we strive to achieve an ideal equilibrium in our lives. This quest for balance and inner peace may be one of the most challenging endeavours of all. It seems rare to find a person who considers themselves to be truly and completely satisfied in all respects. The painting appears to capture this universal human condition of restlessness and the search for harmony between the opposing forces within us.

I use the highest-grade archival materials in creating this artwork to ensure that this painting is ready to withstand the ages. All of my Originals come with a Certificate of Authenticity.

The painting surface is protected with a coat of matt varnish. The painting is unframed.
