"SKETCHES FROM A PASTEL AFTERNOON" was painted stretched on a 140 x 200 cm frame. When painting, the canvas has contracted in height. It is basically possible to re-clamp in the same size, but depending on depth of the stretcher bars or your plans of framing the painting, your framer may recommend a slightly smaller frame size in height, e.g. 135 x 200 cm.
