As an artist, I created this piece to reflect the unsettling and inevitable transformation of our perception of reality. In today’s world, where people are increasingly immersed in the virtual realm, real-life connections are being replaced by images and illusions. Each of us, in this boundless digital universe, has the opportunity to create our own perfect world—a world where we can be anyone: heroes, beauties, ideal lovers. Effortlessly, without pain.
Technology, gadgets, and screens have become our companions, replacing human connections. We find solace in virtual emotions and pleasures that lack real depth and sincerity.
My work is an attempt to capture the moment when the virtual begins to overshadow the real, when we can no longer clearly define where the world we build in our minds ends, and where the world we live in begins.
