Silver Light on Latumer See (2026) Original Watercolour by Yurii Prysiazhnyi
33 x 25.5 x 0.1cm (unframed) / 31 x 23.5cm (actual image size)
£333.18
Original artwork description
This original watercolor was painted on the shores of Latumer See in Meerbusch, Germany. It captures the unique atmosphere of a quiet, overcast day, where rare glimpses of sunlight break through the clouds, illuminating the water with a soft, silvery glow.
This piece is a blend of live nature and studio refinement. I began the painting en plein air directly at the lake to capture the authentic dampness of the air, the cool grey palette, and the shifting light. Later, in my studio, I added the final graphic accents and intricate details of the branches, achieving a balance between the spontaneous energy of the moment and artistic precision.
SIZE: H23.5 x W3 cm 9.2 x 12.2 inches, signed in the front. The work has a white border for mounting and framing.
TECHNIQUE & MATERIALS: The artwork is original and done with professional watercolor paints on 300 gr 100% cotton acid-free Hahnemühle watercolor paper, which secures its long life (if kept in good storage conditions away from the sun).
FRAMING & PACKAGING: Sold without frame. Frame is added only for preview
All my works aren't framed by default, because that increases shipping price too much. However, the size of the watercolor allows its fast and budget framing using standard mats and frames from your local decor shops.
