I am always inspired by the beautiful trunk markings on silver birches and the way they usually grow in clusters in woods and forests. This painting depicts forest birches, both in the foreground and more distanced among other forest trees. I love the vibrant green palette and subtle hints of soft pink and blue. The painting is set in a white painted wood frame with a small shadow gap between the canvas and frame.
