Artwork description
Simple navy blue skies, creamy sand and white topped waves create a minimalist expansive image of a deserted beach on the Isle of Lewis in the far north of Scotland. The waves roll in side by side in an endless and timeless song in simplicity. In the distance, the last of the evening light rests on the horizon before the Atlantic Ocean disappears into eternity.
Printed on dreamy soft textured canvas using museum quality materials right here in my studio on the Isle of Skye. If you prefer this on fine art paper then just get in touch. As I print these myself I can also print bespoke sizes.
I photograph and print every image, I do not outsource any part of my workflow. Each canvas has been painstakingly crafted to ensure the true colours, resolution and texture are exactly as they should be.
Printed at 86 x 56 inches plus a 2 inches white border. Ideal for an entryway or hallway.
About My Work

I print the canvases here in my studio to control of the colour representation at all stages to ensure you get a truly handmade image.
About My Materials
People often say that my images look like paintings because of the richness of the colours, the depth of the black and the texture of the materials I use. I work with the finest paper and canvas materials and combine them with non fade inks to create a work that will last for more than a lifetime.
