Shifting Turquoise Shores is a contemporary landscape inspired by the luminous turquoise waters and tranquil beauty of the Isles of Scilly. Created using a palette knife, the painting is rich in texture, with expressive layers of oil that bring depth, movement and light to this simplified coastal scene.

A winding flow of water and a triangular abstract land mass leads the eye through the foreground towards the distant islands, inviting the viewer to pause and experience a sense of calm and quiet contemplation.
