In Shibari, it is the strength and energy of the person who is being connected are directed in full surrender for his own comfort and relaxation. Why? A person completely or partially loses control over the situation and voluntarily transfers it to the one who binds. He does not need to fight; all that remains is to relax and look inside himself.

I began creating this work in 2018 in Thailand and completed it in January 2026 in Spain. I added depth to the flowers in the background of the piece.
