31 Artist Reviews

£2,608.53

Large‑scale mixed media original art and bold abstract painting define this expressive contemporary work, immediately capturing attention with its light but strong presence. Pink stripes, black lines, peach marks applied with the artists hand - literally - create a vibrant and lively charged surface.

“She paints outside the lines” is a visual manifesto for courage, individuality, and the freedom to think beyond imposed boundaries. As children, we are taught to color neatly and stay inside the lines — yet this artwork celebrates the opposite: daring to dream big, to follow your own voice, and to walk your own path with confidence.

Measuring 150 × 150 cm, this large‑format piece commands the room. The listed dimensions refer to the net size of the work. The original height extended some additional paper above and below the 150 × 150 cm area, where the screws were placed, resulting in an overall height of approximately 160 cm. There are no drill holes on the left or right edges, only at the top and bottom.

If you're looking for a larger work: This work is perfect to be paired with "She paints outside the lines No. 2"!

Paper works of this size offer a wide range of framing and presentation options. From a classic frame (for example, given a modern twist with a coloured background), to mounting the piece on a panel and framing it with a float frame, all the way to displaying it between two acrylic glass plates — there are many possibilities.

Works on paper typically show signs of handling even when new, such as slightly bumped edges or corners. These are an inherent part of the artistic process.

This work is sold unframed, frames / in situ images for illustration purposes only.
Ships rolled in a tube.*
Painted on paper (200 gsm).
Finished with a silky varnish with UV protection.
Signed on the front and signed and dated on the back, also signed Certificate.
