She Paints Outside the Lines No. 1 (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Daniela Schweinsberg
150 x 175 x 0.1cm (unframed)
£2,825.47
Original artwork description
Large‑scale mixed media original art and pink abstract painting define this expressive contemporary work, immediately capturing attention with its bold presence. Rich layers of pink in multiple shades, accented by subtle touches of orange, create a vibrant and emotionally charged surface.
“She Paints Outside the Lines” is a visual manifesto for courage, individuality, and the freedom to think beyond imposed boundaries. As children, we are taught to color neatly and stay inside the lines — yet this artwork celebrates the opposite: daring to dream big, to follow your own voice, and to walk your own path with confidence.
Measuring 175 × 150 cm, this large‑format piece commands the room. The lower edge is irregular from the studio process. The 175 cm height refers to the shorter right side. Depending on framing or display, the edge may remain organic or be straightened.
During its creation, the artwork was screwed directly to the wall, leaving visible drill holes along the perimeter. These marks are part of its story and can be highlighted or concealed depending on presentation. Detail photos show both aspects clearly.
Please note that works on paper typically show signs of handling even when new, such as slightly bumped edges or corners. These are an inherent part of the artistic process. My works are created in the studio under real working conditions and are attached to walls or worked on while lying on the floor. So these traces reflect the direct, process-driven approach and are integral to the work.
This work is sold unframed, frames / in situ images for illustration purposes only.
Ships rolled in a tube.*
Painted on paper (200 gsm).
Finished with a silky varnish with UV protection.
