Artist's description:

This painting was inspired by some frozen puddles I saw during a very cold Winter's day. The shattered ice created some interesting patterns and in the painting it acts as a metaphor for the way we can be emotionally fractured but like ice we can melt and reassemble ourselves. It was painted with a palette knife which means it has quite a textured, raised surface. If you have any questions for me about this painting please click the 'Contact Jacqueline Talbot' button.
