Shapes Inside the Palm House (2025)Linocut

For this piece I wanted to simplify what I saw. My tendency to get caught up in details and colours had to be subdued as I tried to reduce this lush and vibrant but very busy corner of the Palm House to its most direct and uncomplicated forms. As a result of reducing all extraneous forms what remains is an almost semi-abstract graphic depiction of inside the Palm House.
This will be a very limited edition of thirty-five and I will be experimenting with different colours.
Please be aware that as I hand press my work that you may find slight marks or embossing on the surface of the paper. These are signs that make the piece authentic and not just a digital or AI copy.
This particular print is in charcoal coloured ink on a beautiful creamy Somerset satin 300gsm.
