Original artwork description
Shan Miller regularly models for me and is a fascinating painter in her own right. This portrait was done as an introduction to a somewhat infamous exhibition of her's at the Plough Art Centre in Torrington in 2009.
It was shown at the 2009 Ruby Country exhibition in Holsworthy. I heard a young girl remark to her friend, unaware that the perpetrator was close by, "I love it. I love everything about it." Nevertheless it remained unsold ! If it remains so, I'm more than happy to have it until it's time for her to move on.
In a nice professional frame.
Materials used:
Spectrum oil paint, knives, sticks, paste medium.
Details:
- Oil painting on Panel / Board / MDF
- One of a kind artwork
- Size: 43 x 58 x 2cm (framed)
- Framed and ready to hang
- Signed on the front
- Style: Expressive and gestural
- Subject: People and portraits
