This painting is a tribute to an old oak tree I had admired for years - a familiar presence on so many walks and a subject I returned to often in my work.

Captured on a crisp October afternoon, the low sun lights up the ivy wrapped trunk casting long shadows across the frosted grass. Sadly, the tree was felled last year, but this piece holds something of its quiet strength and beauty - a moment of stillness, colour, and forever in my memory.

Size: 30cm x 30cm (11.8" x 11.8") on canvas board, signed on the rear.
