White with Cobalt I is a minimalist painting framed in a metal frame. The painting is dominated by dove blue, grey and navy blue accents. At first glance, the painting brings to mind an abstract landscape. However, it is a sophisticated play of colours, planes and lines that sometimes disappear, and sometimes set boundaries. The subtle colours and reduced composition will allow the oil painting to blend into contemporary interiors with grey additions or wooden elements.
