One of my favorite portraits of Henry Matisse is in the Hermitage. It is the portrait of Lidya, the muse of the Master.
It was painted by Matisse under the influence of Picasso. Painted the self-portrait under that impression. It is not very ideal with proportions but this is the cornerstone.
