Zakhar Shevchuk’s Seekers captures the essence of the spiritual journey – that moment when awareness pushes through obscurity, and the unseen becomes felt. The two faint silhouettes, illuminated by thin beams of light, stand as symbols of humanity’s eternal curiosity and longing to understand what lies beyond.

The composition unfolds gradually. Layers of oil and muted colour create an atmosphere of mystery, like a dream caught between emergence and fading. The viewer senses both silence and movement, as though witnessing a sacred ritual of discovery. The emotional resonance is powerful yet restrained – an echo of the introspective modernists who explored the border between form and formlessness.
