Original artwork description
A continuation of an intensive, ongoing series exploring the hidden micro-vibrancy of our natural environment. My creative process begins with the tactile act of collecting small, discarded elements from nature—torn pieces of tree stems, weathered bark, and irregular fragments of found wood. To the casual observer, these are mere detritus. To me, they are complex, bustling biospheres. The damp underside of a stone or a small fracture in a tree stem provides a vital habitat to a world of tiny organisms, insects, and hidden creatures.
