Sea Pinks and Cliffs (2022)Linocut by Alexandra Buckle

A large reduction linocut of a high cliff with flowering sea pinks, looking down at the rocks and a small turquoise cove below.

A reduction print is a relief print formed with layers of colour that are cut and printed from the same block, in this case, from lino. This is one of a small edition of prints, all of which are printed by hand so small variations occur between them making each one truly original.

This work is printed with water-based, light-fast inks on Somerset Satin paper and has a beautiful matt finish. Each individual print is numbered, titled and signed at the bottom.

This artwork will be rolled and shipped in a strong, triangular postal tube.
