Original artwork description
The rugged cliffs at Point Lobos, reflecting in rippling surface of water, that seems to eddy, shimmy, and shimmer with life, inspired me to paint this seascape. I used loose, expressive brush strokes ranging in hue from teal to purple to demonstrate the energetic dynamic surf.
Materials:
Oil on classic Belgian Claessens Linen canvas from 100% pure flax, stretched on European wooden stretcher. Traditionally Oil Primed and Hand Stretched linen, woven and primed for Old Holland by Claessens in Belgium.
The painting is wired in the back on the stretcher bars and is ready to hang.
