A winter view from near Pittenweem in the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland, looking south. You can see the Bass Rock and Traprain Law near North Berwick on the horizon. I restricted my colour palette to greys in this painting. The views looking south can be spectacular in certain weather conditions and special light. That is what I wanted to communicate in this painting.
