The colours in the Highlands of Scotland can be staggering. This is painted after a trip through the Trossachs and from a photograph I took some years back. It might be Lake of Mentieth but I can't be sure. I know that I was entranced by the legend of Rob Roy Mc Gregor and visited his grave in Balquidder...hence the title of the painting.
It comes with a certificate of authenticity and is edge bound to give a fresh, contemporary feel.
