The strong contrast of red against pale blue creates a vibrant, almost iconic effect. A small but powerful piece that distills the essence of freedom, grace and presence. At the same time, the bird represents individuality. Its color doesn’t blend into its surroundings, and yet it stands firmly and confidently. This tension between otherness and belonging is a central theme in my work.
