In this artwork of mine I wanted to express the passion and intensity of music through feminine charm and sensuality, in harmony with the musical instrument referred to as the “king of jazz.” The saxophone, because of its wide range of dynamics and volume, can emanate a very sweet and at the same time melancholy sound, as well as capable of expressing rage, desires, sonorities and moods of the most diverse kind, becoming the multifaceted icon of the twentieth century. Figurative interpretation, through the intimate suggestions of oil, meets expressionism, revealing a connection between feeling and form. It exudes realism and fine art, merging to tell a story, where each brushstroke is a note played with fervor.
