This colourful silkscreen print depicts a man intensely focused on sawing wood.

This 8 colour silkscreen is hand-printed on 250-gram handmade Italian Rosapina Fabriano and is in a limited edition of 15 and signed on the front by the artist.

A colour silkscreen print is created by building up an image with several layers of individually printed colours. This process is called colour separation. Each colour has it's own 'positive' which is made on acetate or tracing paper (see photos for reference) which is then exposed to a UV light with a screen coated in a photosensitive emulsion.
