This work is the first in a new series inspired by the paintings of Joan Mitchell. It is fresh, spontaneous, uplifting and full of hope. I painted this one while listening to Vivaldi's Four Seasons and the music lead to the freedom captured in this work.
The painting is rich in greens and violet on a white base and is gestural in nature. Created on triple primed canvas using professional acrylic paint and satin varnish for UV protection, the work is rich in greens and violet. It is signed on the back.
This painting will be sent rolled in a Tube to allow for reasonably priced shipping and safe transport. Any professional frame shop can arrange to re-stretch the work at a reasonable cost.
The Painting size when put on a stretcher is 58 inches (wide) x 30 inches (high) x 1.5 inches.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
