The stillness I felt in my soul while creating this piece was something very close to sacred. This was one of those, using up leftover paint, just for the joy of painting, paintings. No goal in mind. No pressure to get it just right. I was just letting it flow. removing the logical and embracing the relationship of my soul with my hand with the canvas and paints. Little by little it took form and found a direction. Life came to the canvas in the form of brushstrokes and colors.

Sacred Stillness is 12 x 16 inches, oil on stretched canvas. It is gallery wrapped, wired and ready to hang.
