Original artwork description:

"Sacred Cow"

The original was painted in oils. For this one I start with a light blue and fill in a small area of dots, then I get en even light colour and blend at together with dots - moving to darker and darker shades. Once dry I added small details of white and dark blue dots to make it pop a little more.

10 x 12 inch Canvas

Inspiration behind the cow:
Over the last couple of years my health has become more important than ever due to becoming quite ill. I then began searching the web for answers and have since become very passionate about diet and the part it plays in your health. So, everyone is arguing whether meat is good for you. The simple fact is how can a food that we have been eating for millions of years be bad for our health. We should be discussing whether sugar, seed oils and grains are good for us. I think most of us know that sugar is bad, there is no need for sugar in our diet. Don’t get me started on seed oils! And grains, we are not adapted to all these grains, the number of people with gluten sensitivity and celiac disease is skyrocketing, does this not make you wonder?
I came to the conclusion during my search that meat heals and I will be making more art around this topic.
