Original artwork description
These stunning roses I picked up on the rose farm in Stuttgart. I decided to compose a bright and simple bouquet using an amazing old style glass, wich I laid by for a special case like this. I like the combination of lemon-yellow, warm red, creamy pink and orange colors of flowers. Each rose has its own individual character, shape and color tone, that I tried to express. And of course, I'm fond of the handmade green glass, looks exactly like the object from an old Dutch still life. I think it particularly fits to roses and flower still life in whole.
