This is a painting of sun shining on the rocks at Pleherel Plage in Brittany. The coastline in this area is dramatic and beautiful. The shapes of the rocks have beeen painted as the sun catches the various colours amongst the intricate forms. I have visited this area several times where I've made sketches and taken photographs which I've then developed into paintings.
