Rocks and Sand 2 (2026) Original Oil Painting by Joanna Farrow

The second of two paintings based on a beach walk in Bournemouth during the spring, with the sea and Isle of Wight in the distance. I have used loose brushmarks and palette that captures the blue/greys of the rocks against the soft ochre colours of the sand. The painting is framed in a good quality, white painted, shallow wood frame with a shadow gap between the canvas and frame to enhance the painting.
