Rocking-Horse Rider I is the second in a series of four Rocking-Horse Riders who are having a race. He is nearing the front, and is focused and looking forward towards where he is going. There is some irony to this series, because however hard they rock the riders will, of course, be staying in the same place. By their nature, rocking-horses don’t actually go anywhere… Nevertheless, this racer is still enjoying the ride.

This sculpture is made of bronze and mounted on a beautiful base made of Portland stone. Please feel free to message me with any questions.
