This is one of two atmospheric paintings that were inspired by local trees enveloped in the haze and thick mist of late winter. A soft, yellow tinged light shows through the trees to indicate a clearer day ahead. The painting is set in a white painted, wood frame with a shadow gap between canvas and frame to enhance the painting.
