My latest series of wild flowers in a botanical style. Rhododendrons are really a cultivated plant but on the west coast of Scotland, they grow wild all over the countryside.
This particular painting is a combination of a yellow flag iris also found everywhere on the west coast, especially in boggy areas and a rhododendron in bud.
In a botanical style but with a bit of artistic expression.
