Original artwork description
Original painting “Rhino #6” – Acrylic on canvas (100 x 120 cm)
This expressive rhino painting is part of my series “On the Red List”. Painted in vibrant neon pink, soft blue and yellow, the majestic animal comes alive on raw canvas in an energetic, contemporary visual language.
The work is more than an artwork – it is a statement. Rhinos are endangered and listed on the Red List of threatened species. Poaching continues to threaten their survival, driven by the black-market trade in rhino horns. With this painting I aim to raise awareness of this destruction, while celebrating the strength and beauty of these animals.
Despite its critical message, the piece radiates positive energy – colorful, dynamic, and almost dreamlike.
