Original artwork description
I grew up near Fort Monmouth in New Jersey. This Army post in now decommissioned but I like to ride my bicycle on the property and explore. This was painted from a reference photo taken just after sunrise, hence the title Reveille for the early morning wake up call that I would hear when the fort was still active.
